Basic information
Thiourea is performed to partial isomerization during melting to form thiocyanurate specific ammonium. It is also used as vulcanization accelerator for rubber and flotation agent for metal minerals, etc. It is formed by the action of hydrogen sulfide with lime slurry to form calcium sulphide, and then with calcium cyanamide (group). Ammonium thiocyanate can also be fused to produce, or the cyanide and hydrogen sulfide produced by the action.

Application
1. Used as raw materials for dyes and dyeing auxiliaries,resins and plasticizer.
2. It can also be used as a vulcanization accelerator for rubber,a flotation agent for metallic minerals,a catalyst for the preparation of phthalic anhydride and fumaric acid,and as a corrosion inhibitor for metals.
3. In photographic materials, can be used as a developer and toner. It can also be used in electroplating industry.
4. Thiourea is also used in diazo sensitive paper, synthetic resin coating, anion exchange resin, germination accelerator, fungicide and many other aspects.
