Basic information

Vanadium pentoxide can be prepared by the reaction of hot ammonium metavanadate or water with vanadium trichloride,or by calcining vanadium concentrate with soda ash or sodium chloride to obtain sodium metavanadate,which is then reacted with sulfuric acid. Vanadium pentoxide can be used as a catalyst in organic synthesis and the sulfuric acid industry,and is also applied in the production of ceramics and red glass, etc. In the metallurgical industry,vanadium pentoxide can be used to produce alloy steel,and in the petrochemical field,it serves as a corrosion inhibitor for equipment.

Application

1. Widely used in metallurgy, chemical and other industries, mainly used for smelting vanadium iron.

2. As an alloy additive, accounting for more than 80% of the total consumption of vanadium pentoxide
